Overview:
Hafla San Diego 2006 is pleased to offer our entire community a place to celebrate the dance!

We offer dance workshops with some of the leaders in our industry in Raks Sharki/Oriental Dance, Tribal & Fusion and Folkloric styles. In your workshop package, you may choose to take ALL Fusion, or Folkloric, or Oriental, or Mix and Match!

The schedule divided into basically Regular workshop periods and Support/Master sessions. There are 5 "Regular" periods offering 3 workshops each - one each in the above categories. Additionally, we offer "Support" classes - These are workshops at a discounted price to help you succeed in the industry such as Exciting Makeup, Competition Preparation, What to Know Before You Book That Gig, and others.

Even further we are excited to offer two Master Class opportunities: Tribal/Fusion with Heather Stants focusing on floorwork, and Oriental with one of the leading artists in Egyptian dance in our industry Sahra Saeeda. Master Classes will be severely limited in attendance and will require a significant foundation in the dance. They are intended for Advanced, Semi-Pro and Professional students of the dance only!

All Workshops at Hafla San Diego are 'capped', that is we do not pack the rooms full of attendees. Our goal is include everyone in an informative and educational event to propel our dance community forward in style, technique and ability. All space is first come/first served, so register early to secure your space. Exact class sizes will be determined just before the event based on room availability.
